Meigs has a shared vision to address our students’ intellectual, physical, social, and emotional needs with moral support from all faculty, staff and administration.  Students are involved in varied learning experiences to involve our students in gaining knowledge that is important to actively participate in a global community.  Students are assessed and evaluated using strategies that promote learning in all interdisciplinary team instructional settings including:

  • Large Groups: review, direct, inform, illustrate and or/demonstrate concepts.
  • Small Groups: develop skills, conceptual restating and defining, and maximizing learning opportunities
  • Gender Groups: develop confidence in application of acquired knowledge and skill
  • Individual: using data from assessment to personalize small and one to one tutoring sessions
